If you are going to spend over $800 on a smartphone, you should spend some extra money on both a cover case and a screen protector. However, on the average, a cellular phone store will charge you $30 for the case and $20 for the screen cover, which is way too much. Here is how you can protect your iPhone 7 Plus, and these suggestions are from someone who actually bought these items on Amazon and is very satisfied with them.
Matone iPhone 7 Plus Crystal Clear Case
I can never understand why people get cases that take away the aesthetics from their iPhone. I have never gone with anything but a crystal clear case, and this $6.99 case from Matone is one of the best cases I have ever bought. It fits the 7 Plus perfectly and adds holes where they need to be. I especially like the bumpers on all of the corners.
The best thing to say about the case is that it doesn’t add weight or size to to the already too big iPhone 7 Plus. I put Velcro in the back so I can attach the 7 Plus to my dashboard and use the GPS. This case is definitely better than some $30 cases I saw at the T-Mobile store.
D&P iPhone 7 Plus Tempered Glass Screen Protector
“Do I really need a screen protector?” you may be asking yourself. You think just because something has “Gorilla Glass” on it, it can’t be scratched, right? WRONG! Although you aren’t likely to get the type of scratches on your iPhone that your eyes will notice in your office, you’ll be surprised once you take the iPhone you have put in your pocket, accidentally swiped with your keys, or eve dropped out into the sunlight. You will see scratches you didn’t know existed.
You don’t need to spend $20-$30 on a screen protector, especially one that one can tell is a screen protector. The best thing about the D&P tempered glass screen protector, which is only $7.99 on Amazon, is that you can’t even really tell it’s on. For example, I have a white iPhone 7 Plus and nobody I know can tell it’s on unless they look really closely at the phone. Another great thing about the D&P screen protector is that it has barely scratched, though the 7 Plus has been in my pocket a lot.
I would say that this is possibly the best screen protector I have ever purchased. And believe me, I have been buying screen protectors since 2005.
